Thi s is the last week of a 7-week course of dances from around the world, leading up to the San Antonio Folk Dance Festival. hese beginner-level classes introduce you to traditional dances from many regions of the globe, which will be taught in a relaxed, joy-filled environment. Good, meaningful , low-impact exercise in a lovely ballroom with a sprung wooden floor. ======================================= Note: Tonight, the last night of the course, is a focus night of Serbian dances, and there will be a Serbian meal served at 7 PM with dancing beginning at 9 PM. It is free if you have been attending the course regularly, but of course donations are always welcome. There is plenty of secure free parking nearby as well as security on campus. The course goes through Friday, March 7th and you can join in any time. The best way to find the building is to go in headed west off of 24th street (north-south street) just south of Commerce, and look for the 2nd building on your left. Parking will be straight ahead. When was the last time you went to the zoo? What a great way to kick off the meet up group with a day at the zoo. We can casually get to know each other while interacting (somewhat) with wildlife. We can meet for lunch at a designated location in or out of the zoo. Tickets are 12.00 or 11.00 for a group of 20 or more. (Pay at the ticket counter).
